"Soap is the future" Eamon Holmes
Well I have been watching far too much daytime TV. Eamon Holmes did, in fact, say the above quote on ITV This Morning. Soap is the future, the ability to destroy the COVID lipid membrane makes it effective at keeping us safe. Regular handwashing is very important whenever you are coming in or going out. Hand sanitiser is a good option when you are out and about. However, washing hands properly in soap and water is the best advice.
We are still hoping to make our own hand cleanser with antibacterial properties because we have had amazing feedback. We still are trying to source ingredients at the pump sprays at the right price and quantities. Furthermore, guidelines have changed so we need to be within the law.
It is crazy the things that have been hard to get hold of. Gypsum plaster, aluminum bottles pump sprays, gas canisters for camping, flour, isopropyl alcohol, toilet roll and pasta!
I had a quick chat with Jeremy Vine on BBC Radio 2 at the beginning of March about Coronvirus, soap and hand sanitiser. Well, who knew life would get so crazy and the virus so serious. It has been a difficult time for many families, ours included. Having children off school and continuing a budding business is no easy feat. We are proud to say that during lockdown we have had increased our online orders and we have also begun stocking in many new places. We don't know what the future holds for us but we are ready to adapt to the challenges, continue our sustainability ethos and slowly blossom like a spring flower!
